Mr & Mrs McCarroll
1st of April, 2017. The day had finally arrived, Shaun & Kylie were soon to be pronounced husband and wife and I had the privilege of capturing their special day! I was so excited! I met Kylie, Shaun & Willis in a dark, green forest, on a very wet and miserable day in Dunedin approximately 5 years ago. Little did I know at the time that I would be photographing them another 4 times before capturing one of the most important days of their lives - their wedding!
The morning of their wedding day, the weather was a contrast to the day I first met them. The sun was shining brightly, and although a little windy - it was a great day to be married!

I started the day off with Shaun & the boys, taking a few photos of them getting ready, and opening gifts before heading over to Kylie's to get some of her and the girls getting ready. Some of my favourite moments to photograph are during the getting ready stages of the day - this day was no exception.
Father & Daughter of the Bride - First look...

I then headed to the stunning Lookout Lodge in Wanaka where I waited for the beautiful bride to make her entrance.

Mr & Mrs McCarroll danced their way down the aisle where friends and family were there to greet them.

Kylie requested that I take some photos in Hawea by the lake so with a picnic basket in the back of the car, we drove to a couple of different locations in Hawea for some more creative and fun shots.

My part of the day finished there, but the wedding was far from over. Everyone had such a wonderful time - as far as weddings go, I'd say this one was pretty perfect!

Kylie & Shaun - I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together.
