Sticks 'n' Stones {Portrait Fundraiser}

Bullying - whether at school, in public or in the workplace - it's something that affects most of us at some stage in our lives. For some, it's a daily struggle and for others it may only happen once. Either way, bullying can leave long lasting emotional scars in the days, months and even years ahead. Every now and then, I like to offer limited edition portrait sessions to raise money for different causes and charities. This Winter, with some inspiration from the bare trees and the receding lakes, I chose to raise money for the AMAZING people at Sticks 'n' Stones.

"Sticks ‘n Stones is a student led programme focused on taking positive action online to stop both Bullying online or in person."

Little did I know at the time, but the week I had organised to announce the portrait fundraiser was actually Bullying-Free NZ Week, so the timing couldn't have been better!

With the help of a few different families willing to brave the freezing cold temperatures, I'm happy to say that I was able to donate a total of $200 to Sticks 'n' Stones.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED SUPPORT SUCH A FANTASTIC ORGANIZATION! You can find out more about Sticks 'n' Stones by visiting http://www.sticksnstones.co.nz
